Is it just me or does it seem like the older you get the faster the holidays approach? With 10 days just left before Christmas it seems like no matter where you go people are always busy this time of the year. They have to get that package sent to their grandkids, their fixing decorations on the Christmas Tree (not a holiday tree), their getting that last christmas gift or the last honey cut spiral ham so that it will be ready to be serve for the big dinner. They get ready for the annual office party where you hope and pray to God that you don't get embarass or that someone will embarass you. At times, I just tired of this time of year not because I don't like certain family members (admit there are people that annoy you) but because of all the commercialization of Christmas. After watching the movie "The Nativity Story" it gave me real perspective of why we celebrate this time of year. I can't imagine Josesph and Mary traveling over 100 miles on foot and by donkey. I complain if I'm traveling in a car for more than eight hours. Yet they made the journey to Bethlehem where Christ was born. If you have not seen the movie I highly recommend it after all this is the reason for the season

PS: Thank you to all of you who have prayed for me during the time of my grandfather passing away.
